Pandora Recovery

Pandora Recovery is a program that helps you find and recover deleted files. It works with both FAT and NTFS volumes.
The application comes with a simple and well-structured interface. You have access to a helping wizard that guides you through the recovering process. Firstly, the program scans and analyzes the available drives. Then it allows you to freely browse them, to search for specific files, or to start a surface scan.

If you want to browse the disk for files, you can find them quite easily because all the deleted files are marked with a red sign. Afterwards you just choose the output location and start the recovering process. The application warns you that it’s not recommended to save the files on the same disk because you could lose some data. If you don’t know the location of a file, but you remember its name, size or date, you can use the search feature.

The last method to find and recover a deleted file is the surface scan. You need to select the disk that you want to scan and the file’s type. It can be an archive, an image, a document, an audio file, or a PDF document.

All in all, this is a good tool. It can be useful when you accidentally delete some important data or when you want to review some documents that you have deleted some time ago.
